What a bunch of BS. These people aren't unique, they are copying one specific style, "Emo."
You don't have to be mainstream or Emo or anything to be yourself.

- Not terrible, but something about the hair styles plus the makeup styles plus the facial piercings make them look like they have dirt in their hair and on their faces. Nose and lip rings always look like shiny boogers, to me. Certainly a distinctive look.

- Emo is actually the kind of culture where people "emo-late" each other - and maybe past fashions. These hairstyles are right outta the 80s. Anyone remember Jem and the Holograms?
