BlueShadow rated 13 months ago- Too funny. These so-called arguments have been around for years. It was amusing going through them all again but get a life, people, Elvis is dead but his voice and charisma will remain eternal.

yemenbob rated 23 months ago- --During his last tour he sang `Blue Christmas' although it was summer: was he warning his fans?

Elvis has left the building, but left some ridiculous clues behind!
C'mon people, let the man die in peace
JohnnyG993 rated 23 months ago- are you kidding? this stuff is ridiculous! why wouldn't they use a dummy made out of cloth or plastic or something? wax with an air conditioner is unpractical.
andres430 rated 23 months ago- Interesting...some of it makes you think for a second that maybe, just maybe, Elvis is still alive...and then the second passes.
baruch60610 rated 23 months ago- Maybe it's just me, but... this sounds like another tongue-in-cheek claim. Quoting from the page: " The coffin weighed 900 pounds: Elvis is known to have been overweight at the time of his death...but not that much. The only plausible account for that weight would be if the body was a wax dummy and there was an air conditioner inside the coffin to keep the wax dummy from melting."
OK, I could see maybe a wax dummy, though you'd think they'd use something like whatever they use for movies. But an *air conditioner*? This is silly. Without a place to vent, the air conditioner wouldn't work anyway. Once the coffin was closed, there would be no need for any preserving of a wax figure - and if there were, some dry ice would do it, or just plain old regular ice.
