MandoV rated 21 months ago- PKD was not the first science fiction writer to envision the possibility that the Divine might be a machine -this same notion appears in a story by the late Isaac Asimov (The Final Question) in which a series of increasingly powerful computers are asked how to reverse the entropic heat death of the universe. Each answers with the same complaint: "insufficient data." After the final heat death of the universe, the final computer-Cosmic AI-in hyperspace arrives at the answer after untold aeons, and it is "Let there be Light!"
