 moonseal rated 22 months ago- This vehicle works well. I live in San Francisco and my co-worker has one. It plugs into an outlet in the garage and works great. No high speeds or jetting up a steep hill, but it is efficient. She put a stereo in it as well. Total price was around $11,000.

Still so damn ugly. The reason hybrids have a leg up on true electric cars is also that little thing about being able to do the speed limit. They might be great in town, but if you need to go out of town, get out the gas car, that can go better than 40 mph.
