    Due to the nature of my work I've actually had to learn all of this stuff and it is surprising well worth the effort to learn. Given enough time it comes to a point where you can do three or four things in the time it takes to reach for the mouse, get it under control and find where you need to click. For instance in word saving a document is, press ALT, press F press A that brings up the save as dialog with the name field already selected and the name highlighted so all you need do is press delete and type in a proper file name. Anyway I get by ok and can do most things without the mouse, but I've been in the presence of true masters, the kind of people who can use short cuts so quick that windows can't even keep up. (Ok, I know its windows...) it's like watching someone who can type really really fast and you've got no idea how the f*** they do it, the kind of people who can type with more than two fingers and don't have to look at the keyboard to do it.

    Commonly find myself looking for the select all feature, CTRL+A is nice. The MORONS saying this list is useless just don't use computers. Computer nubs !!!! :)

    useless list. the idea of short cuts is when you READ the short cut when you click on the menu item. are we going to have a list of all the short cuts to type A-Z next time?
