- Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak received a $700 ticket (ouch!) for going 105MPH in a Prius on March 28th. When pressed for comment, Woz denied the charges saying, "Not true," Wozniak replied:"104 MPH."
Steve, man, you're kind of undermining the whole "green vehicle" thing by driving it like that. Though one imagines the regenerative-braking energy store-up caused by the cops pulling him over was pretty impressive.
Also worth a mention, one headline for this story involved use of the phrase "The Great and All-Powerful Woz", which, like the Apple II, is sheer brilliance.

- When the Prius goes over a certain speed, the Gasoline engine is providing most of the power... So basically, you're taking a very gas efficient engine and using it in the most inefficient way...Great Advertisement for the Prius though... As for handling great.. what was he doing? Driving on a freeway? I'd expect EVERY car to handle great on the freeway... call me when the Prius handles great on a racetrack...
