LafnLion rated 11 months ago- A lobby of environmentalists, auto industry workers, and dealers trying to get legislation in place to get the US to a 35 mpg AVERAGE for vehicles by 2020. The auto and oil industries say it would be impossible and financially ruinous - ignoring the fact that Europe and Japan already reach this rather low standard.
