- Great to study and find supporting passages to deal with the trials we face each day. As far as using the word sword, the term is in conjunction to the weapons of war used in the day. The 'sword of truth' will ultimately defeat any weapon. As far as 'living by the sword and dying by the sword'; the term comes from those who lived their lives by fighting for money for whoever paid them the most. Therefore, they lived by the sword (for money to support themselves and their family) and they died by the sword (war is a dangerous business.)
Jesus told Peter that a man who lives by violence will die by violence. Interestingly enough, the Apostles lived by peace but most died by violence.

- I do not believe that there is a more comprehensive christian resource that you can download to your pc. Brilliant program with great add ons.

- I love my e-sword I have a very comprehensive set up and all for freeEasy to down load even for a beginner like me. I highly reccommend this to any one who wants to know God's Word.
