- I think autohotkey is MUCH easier than memokeys.
Also I think the "use a dock" thing is nonsense. I use the superbar, and for me its much faster.
MikeVertx rated 6 months agowindows - just about all of these are worth looking into.
usually I read these types of lists and am not impressed as I'd pass on most of the recommendations, but this is pretty official and the way to go for anyone.

- This is pretty obvious stuff but for those who are not so good with computers, it could be helpful. Definitely not "THE" most useful tips as implied.

noodle976 rated 8 months agowindows - From the page: "Firefox is the best browser, period."
fucking lies. opera's way faster.
NeverNamed rated 8 months ago- Here's an idea, get Linux.
Most of those programs suck anyhow. Digsby? Lets just install more shit to run in the background shall we?
inhumanus rated 8 months ago- So let's review this...
Number 1 tells you to reduce the number of "auto-starting" programs, and then that you should install more software.
Number three says you should install Firefox. Yes, it is fast, but not as much after installing addons. If you want a fast browser, get Opera.
And then Number 5, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 15 tell you to install more programs.
So in order to make your computer run faster and better, you need to install more stuff that will run in the background.
No thanks.
