Betty James, the founder's wife, took over. In 1962 she paid off the company's debts. The line today includes 25 products - including a 40th anniversary bronze Slinky. My son got a posh white one for Christmas. We can get it to walk from the second from top step right down to the hall. Eleven stairs, I just counted! I'm not sure that this post will come out quite the way I wanted, but whatthehell whatthehell...

The thing I remember most about the "Wacky Wallwalker" was that it worked great with the first 2 or 3 throws, and then it got dirty... and despite the fact that the little booklet said to wash it and it'd work again, it never did... it was just a dirty rubber octopus... THANKS A LOT :P
