    This is not how you learn to draw. Simple practice and self-teaching, as well as taking actual lessons, will serve you much better--I ditched all the 'circles and lines' books when I was 12 and haven't looked back.

    Simple. lots of fun. set a good foundation for those learning to draw who may have never taken an art class.

    Not a good way to learn to draw. It's like one of those tracing books you'd give to kids, but it just tells you how to draw that same face and not another one.

    This how-to-draw site seems to be a pretty good resource for getting into drawing if you're new or need some extra tips. It's not very advanced stuff and could benefit from better example pictures. The couple I checked out didn't show actual sketches, which would help people understand what it should look like when done on paper, just line drawings detailing the stages. That said, better than most.
