Rethinking Blog Comments: Much More Than Just A Quick Way to Get...

I was wondering what to do with someone who had posted a comment to my site that was mostly an ad for their product. I should have just visited DoshDosh and looked at what Maki had to say, for he is wise in all things blogging.

From the page: "A comment left on a popular blog may be viewed by a few hundred people in one day. Multiply that by the lifespan of the blog and youâ€ll see that a simple comment may say a lot about you. Every blog comment is usually permanent. Itâ€s not just a hyperlink but a long-term representation of your brand."

Comment on blogs, but do it good! Add to the discussion, or don´t bother at all.

Once again, another high quality article from Maki. This article, like many others is a focused article - there's no beating around the bush, just some good old facts and a case study intertwined. Great work :)

This is all about having a different mindset, about rethinking how commenting can benefit you in the long run, over and over again.
