This site is a true legend among video encoding enthusiasts. It was there from the beginning when the only mpeg4 codec was a hacked ms codec from which Divx draws it's roots. Supplying news, guides, tutorials and codec comparisons since the year 2000 (AFAIK). It's forums are also the focal point of development of various well-known video tools (Gordian Knot, AutoGK, MeGUI, to name a few).
