I get so furious when I remember that some people in this country eat dogs. I grew up around dogs, my mom was a vet, and we always had so many dogs living in our house. I always knew that dogs were so smart, and so loyal, and so brave, and beautiful. They were amazing companions, and they love their master. Dogs get depressed when they know their owner isn't there anymore, I had 3 family members who's dogs all passed away less than a week after my family members did. How could anyone ever kill such an amazing animal? It infuriates me, that some people are that disgusting, and insensitive! How dare they! One day I accompanied my mom, to visit her relatives in the province. And I looked out the window and I saw a group of people around a fire, I didn't think anything of it. I thought maybe they were burning garbage or something, because a lot of people here do that. And as we drove closer, I saw a dog being hung by its feet over the fire, and it wasn't dead. Oh my god! I tried to jump out of the car. I had pepper spray in my bag, and I thought I could just spray all those people's eyes and rescue the dog. I wanted to hang those people over the fire like they did to the dog, I was so angry, I couldn't stop crying, and I couldn't stop shaking. I didn't understand how they could so such a dirty, disgusting, barbaric thing. My mom wouldn't let me go out of the car, so I rolled down the window and tried screaming/talking to them. And they just stared at me, I didn't think they understood what I was saying. I was so scarred by that day.
