- Good site for a bunch of random news. Digg is not a perfect site for showing news that people care about, but it's the best one I've seen so far that's community-based and has a decent looking interface.

- the digg front page is easily and effectively controlled by a few users. plus it's been getting lamer and lamer as more people join; there is no universal concept of 'good', and it's asinine to think that just because a lot of people 'digg' it that it's of any value to you...
