I don't think mankind has much impact on supposed climate change, but I can promise you that manufacturing these things will create a lot of carbon, and it'll take a while just to break even on that side, not even taking the cost into consideration.

and when the tree is full? what sort of energy input is required in creating these things? will this technology ever be cost competitive with real plants (those things that literally grow anywhere you let them and cost either zero or less than zero dollars)? what kind of stupid asshole invented this idiotic bullshit?
