On the good side, if you look at the economy as if it were a roller coaster, then, well... WEEEEEEEEEE!- Conspiracy theory? I don't see conspiracy at all. I simply see someone reacting and relating something unusual, which just happens to be some anonymous corporation hunkering down in its shell.

- Life and economics as well is what we think about it. So if we think that the economy is in trouble - it is!

Tracer-Bullet rated 3 months ago- The economy is in trouble???? Oh no, why don't people know about this????? Oh wait, everyone already does. Never mind.

ShrineGuard rated 3 months ago- A corporation hedges its bets and it means they obviously know something is going to happen? C'mon, any average Joe on the street probably assumes we're headed into a downturn, and a retail outlet would be insane, especially given drops in sales, to not cut back on raises and inventories. It's not a vast conspiracy, it's just a business adapting to a changing consumer environment. Take it as a case study, not as a sign.

- Great article

rssn rated 3 months ago- A retailer is having troubles and is cutting costs. This MUST be a sign of the apocalypse. I don't see why he makes this sound like a huge conspiracy, and what he describes doesn't sound like 'bracing for something big' it sounds like 'oh shit we are losing money, cut costs!'
