If this doesn't choke you up, then you're not human, and you're definitely not American.

A forum post. Thanks for stumbling that. Here's the kicker, it's an argument about gay marriage using photos of funerals of service members. Yeah. Go join the nutbags at Westboro Baptist...

Yes, these photos illustrate the sad state that war brings to the families that lose fathers and brothers to war. But the story has not changed since the beginning of time. Do you suppose that the Celts, Picts, and Goths who stood against the tyrany of the roman Empire felt any less? Do you suppose the Irish who stood against forced famine felt any less? Do you think for one minute that the Scotts that stood against Longshanks lost any less? Do you believe that we would be a better place had Germany been "left alone", "pulled out of", or "withdrawn from"? While it is easy for us to feel the loss and pain through these pictures; it should be equally easy for us to feel pride. It should be just as important for us to continue the struggle against a tyranical religious based regime, who uses terror and straps bombs to its own children. It is easy to say, "How sad. Pull out now." But the one war we allowed that to happen to, resulted in the masacre of millions of innocents. It happened because we "pulled out", not because we were there. Yes, it is sad to lose our men and women to war, but sadder still would be the state into which this world plunged, if the likes of Bin Laden and the Iranian nut job were allowed to go unchallenged. The cost of war is great. But even greater would be the cost of living under the shadow of religious fenatic fascism of Islam. It is no less a threat than came to 6 million Jews only two generations ago. ***The blog site using the images of our fallen here, is clearly designed to promote a message of anti-Republicanism and has jack shit to do with mariage or war.***

Caption:"Children need both mothers and fathers, and marriage is society's way of obtaining them." (Republican Party of Texas in their "Talking Points on marriage" brochure) >>>>>> Comment: I can't say it better than Stumbler Ianrey did, "If this doesn't choke you up, then you're not human, and you're definitely not American." Thanks, also, to wpbfl for pointing to this.

"Children with absent fathers are more likely to drop out of school, become teenage parents, develop drug or alcohol problems, or become involved in violent criminal behavior." (The Republican 'National Governor's Initiative')

This is not about gay marriage, it is about the utter cruelty of this current emperor - "children need a mother and a father." And yet, he's sending the fathers off to die in a war that he lied about in the first plate. He should be hung for treason.

The democrats are useing the deaths of US soldiers to promote gay marriage. How much lower can they go?

Oh! Also never have I seen such shameless propaganda for an activist cause.
