I agree with everything said there. Not every religious person believes in creationism, as the poster 2 below me kindly points out, but then, the author of this article never states that either, and that it is an example of "The Strawman Attack" as stated in the article... the author is merely sarcastic about the religious ideals. However, the ones that are creationists do tend to use these "falsehoods" to their advantage.

Far from the best summary of logical fallacies out there, and at least one of the counter-arguments it gives ("Snails tend to abdorb minerals that they slide across. The snail in question probably picked up a 25,000 year-old piece of gravel") is complete bullshit.

I see no need to attack religion as a whole in the way he does when it is a passage against creationism. There are lots of religious people who are not creationists, and who accept the big bang theory and evolution. Even so, i fail to see the need to force your own opinions and beliefs onto other people.
