Sneakeasy rated 5 weeks ago- Too bad I can't give 1 thump up, and the other thumb down. ;-D I prefer to hold my books in my grubby little fingers, and read them, as Guttenburg intended. ;-D FROM THE WEBSITE: DailyLit sends books in installments via e-mail or RSS feed. We currently offer over 750 classic and contemporary books available entirely for free or on a Pay-Per-Read basis (with sample installments available for free). You can read your installments wherever you receive e-mail/RSS feeds, including on your Blackberry and iPhone.

datahaven rated 7 weeks ago- From the page: "Why read books by email? Because if you are like us, you spend hours each day reading email but don't find the time to read books. DailyLit brings books right into your inbox in convenient small messages that take less than 5 minutes to read."

caile-girl rated 8 weeks ago- Want to impress your friends with what a pretentious, ostensibly over-educated ass you are but without the hassle of actually having to read pithy tomes the old-fashioned way? Here's another option: Read books of any genre via RSS feed or email and forget the hassles of Amazon.com, the library or the local bookstore. You can even use the forums instead of having to put on pants and go to a reading group if you're interested in discussing the prolific E.E. Cummings' ubiquitous presence on the Internet or the ramifications of "The Federalist Papers" on today's political views. However, note that carrying the actual books around does provide a certain studious cachet one simply cannot achieve by reading from a computer screen in your underwear. [Simple translation for the above: "This site lets you read books online. Yay!"]
