GIMP should be listed. It is second only to Photoshop. There are only a couple things that PS can do that GIMP can't.

If your actually a photographer looking at this, then go outside, place your camera on the ground, and proceed to stamp on it a few times, then burn it. Photoshop is the ONLY answer, there is NO alternative to Photoshop.
