How i wish that one day before i die i were able to experience the beauty of our planet from outer space. This has been my dream ever since i can remember. I think this if anything else should be my driving force to make money...lol! Or just wait till the price comes down...but i dont think i might be young enough for that!!!!!!!

n February, 1971, Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell experienced the little understood phenomenon sometimes called the "Overview Effect". He describes being completely engulfed by a profound sense of universal connectedness. Without warning, he says, a feeing of bliss, timelessness, and connectedness began to overwhelm him. He describes becoming instantly and profoundly aware that each of his constituent atoms were connected to the fragile planet he saw in the window and to every other atom in the Universe.

'SPACE EUPHORIA'. DO OUR BRAINS CHANGE WHEN WE TRAVEL IN SPACE? In February, 1971, Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell experienced the little understood phenomenon sometimes called the "Overview Effect". He described experiencing an intense awareness that Earth, with its humans, other animal species, and systems were all one synergistic whole. He says the feeling that rushed over him was a sense of interconnected euphoria. He was not the first--nor the last--to experience this strange "cosmic connection".

how does consciousness or awareness relate to quantum physics? what does being in space versus being on Earth have to do with it? Sounds like a load of crap to me...

Thanks "Alana13." I see many friends posting on this one. Personally, I think these guys are put into a drug induced semi-comatose state under continual mind programming submergence to believe they're really flying through space, because it hasn't happened yet and isn't going to happen any time soon. But hey, any moment of euphoria is cool.
