By now every Lovecraft fan should own a copy of this insanely great film. Those who've seen it will be psyched about HPLHS's The Whisperer in Darkness adaptation set for release this year.

The site's main page is a jumble, but you can find other trailers and downloadable props and fonts if you don't mistake all the clutter for spam.

Why is it that I have an instant hatred for anyone who doesn't know who HP Lovecraft was? I'm not sure, but I enjoyed the film, almost as much as I still enjoy reading the story.

Here's the original fan movie I was talking about, officially made by the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society. Sans famous acting cast and Hollywood budget, they have managed to recreate what it would have been like if they made a Lovecraft movie in the age of silents. Made in Mythoscope. We would have remained silent as well.
