mindseye rated 4 weeks ago- From the page: "Skeptical Inquirer is a welcome breath of fresh air, separating fact from myth in the flood of occultism and pseudoscience on the scene today. "

masked2007 rated 16 months ago- Humourless fundamentalists. I suggest the Amazing Randi and his Science-worshipping ilk go back to using the scientific method and blind tests before wasting their time and energy being hypocrits.

Dyflon rated 19 months ago- werd up.

ghelms rated 23 months ago- From the page: "Skeptical Inquirer---The Magazine for Science and Reason"

Robyn941 rated 29 months ago- Self explanatory. I like the special features.

carlosp039 rated 33 months ago- I'm skeptical about this

catquas rated 34 months ago- I really like the articles about social issues. They don't have that many of them, but the few they have are really good because they really take a critical, logical approach.

McQ14 rated 37 months ago- Well worth the subscription price. Of the six different magazine subscriptions I get (from sports to news to general fun stuff), this is the one I look forward to most. How can you not love the only magazine to question a teeneage Russian girl who claims to be able to see inside your body, down to the "molecular" level and diagnose disease, yet not be able to see a solid object held behind your back (or see through a screen you're standing naked behind)? Yeah, you read that right. It gets even better. Much more inside each issue. Use some common sense and at least buy one issue. Let's bring reason and critical thinking back into vogue in this world. Pseudoscience, superstition, and fanatical religions haven't done a whole lot of good, so let's see what good old reason does. And for those of you who immediately decide to attack me and make guesses about who I am and what I think (and otherwise just go after me personally, rather than argue with THE POINTS I made), that's called (from the Wikipedia)"An ad hominem argument, also known as argumentum ad hominem (Latin, literally "argument [aimed] at the person", but usually translated as "argument to the man"), is a logical fallacy that involves replying to an argument by addressing the person presenting the argument as a basis for the argument being incorrect, as opposed to pointing out a flaw in the argument." It's something creationists do because their case is so weak. It's something many people do, and it holds no water with me. So, remember how to "argue" properly (look it up in a debate forum) and then contact me if you have issues. Aside from that little rant, it's a beautiful day here, and I think I'll go out and do some photography with my new toy, and Olympus Evolt E300 digital SLR. Hope to post some of the better shots here for you.

davethecave rated 38 months ago- I am too much of a skeptic to send my money off to these people. What if they are wrong? I`ve wasted my hard earned cash.

SykoSuzie rated 43 months ago- Separate fact from fiction.
