- The Antikythera MechanismIt seems that every twenty years or so experts from various places get together to have a fresh look at the Antikythera Mechanism. Two years ago they came back to Athens to explore it further. I remember feeling excited at the thought that I'd be able to see it as a museum exhibit for the first time; then it was announced that it wouldn't be on display. Whatever comes out of it all, I hope "the world's oldest computer" eventually gets to tell us all of its secrets.Thanks to my friend Maria for this interesting page.
