KarenAK rated 13 months ago- If this is not photoshop, then how did they do this ? Ok, I admit that I am a total loser as regards mathematics and geometry - how was this done with this kind of precision ?? Thank you skyblue101 for sharing this :-) THE SUNDIAL Peter Sorensen: "It's been over a month since the formation appeared in oilseed rape (canola) on top of Beacon Hill at Oliver's Castle (hill fort) North of Devizes, so with the yellow flowers mostly disappeared from other rape fields you might think that the crop circle wouldn't be much to look at now. But I remembered how the 1999 Eclipse crop circle was spectacular after the flowershad disappeared from the surrounding field, but were still in the flattened part of that formation -- because downed plants keep blooming longer in an effort to overcome their disadvantage. So when I flew to shoot the Star on Morgan's Hill, I figured it was worth a side trip over to Oliver's castle to see if that crop circle was in the magical stage. And sure enough, the design was boldly standing out in yellow against the dull green of the rest of the field whose plants had gone to seed. This simple but stunning design appeared when I was still in The States, on May 15th -- the first circle event of the 2007. At 333 feet in diameter it's the largest circular formation ever in rape." ...more

shitshitshit rated 15 months ago- "This circle glyph was discovered from the air around noon on April 15th. It sits alongside Oliver's Castle near Devizes, Wiltshire and can be viewed from the Castle embankment. The glyph is in a field of flowering oil-seed rape. Crop is standing at about four feet high. The pattern spans across 333ft of the field with the outer ring of the main circle measuring 33ft width. Seven arcs, each approximately 5ft wide cut through the central body of the circle. Even though this formation was reported today all indications on the ground point towards it having been around for at least two days. Much of the crop is fully recovered to its original upright growing position, with no damage sustained to this portion of the crop. About half of the crop that is still laid down is un-broken and continuing to grow horizontal, whilst the other half of the still downed crop is damaged by agencies unknown at this time. " LAST LINE?
