Anyone that asks me how they can get fit, I tell them hit the dumbbells. There is no tool more versatile, and should form the staple of any serious weight regimen. Not to mention you can buy adjustable dumbbells quite cheaply and regularly add on weight as you go along. Couple this with a bench or a physio ball as I use (my space is too restricted to own a bench), and you have everything you need for a solid, powerful, full body resistance training. Here is a list of videos for each muscle group and how to attack them with my favorite tool, the humble dumbbell! :)
