brandy-smoker rated 6 weeks ago- This is a very interesting article. Prison society and economics have always interested me. I hope to never know what it is like first hand but I know a lot of people have have been to jail or are currently serving. This would piece would definately be useful to anyone that is new to the system or coming close to being imprisioned.

- From the page: "A Criminalâ€s Guide to Surviving in Prison May 12th, 2008 by Dan" For some reason when I was reading this I couldn't help but imagine the title as "a student's guide to surviving high school" with all the recent media attention around bullying I would have to recommend that young people follow this survival guide.

- Prison Survival Guide _________ When going to the bathroom, take your pants off completely. Attacking someone on the throne occurs often and it's much harder to defend yourself with your pants around your ankles!

- Prison sucks. I was in the joint in Ohio (O.D.R.C.) a few times. Mind you, it had it's moments it was not all like you see on OZ or other shows like that. But this article would really come in handy for someone who is on their way or thinks that they might be. Bot to be real, the worst thing about being in the joint is the loss of power. You no longer have control of any single aspect of your life. You are like a child again, only this time the state owns you. And no matter how bad you may think your parents were, the state is worse by far. And let me tell ya...It's F-N great to be free!
