This is a good social bookmarking site. But BookmarkGlobe.com is a better social bookmarking site.

The focus is on science. The service was developed by Nature Publishing Group. I found the reference in Declan Butler's blog. If you like this sort of nerdy science, check out Butler's blog.

This academic paper's tagging service is similar to CiteULike, but seems to be used by more people. I guess it's less structured, so easier to contribute to. I will consider migrating from CiteUlike.
