A step by step tutorial on how to hide your files in a few easy steps. The applications are these: Having a folder hidden but when they turn on show hidden files? not there. For even more security check the box Hidden to hide this already hidden folder. Feel free to place anywhere on your desktop.

I did this once but then the folder refused to delete. And for those on laptops without number pads, look for a button labeled "fn". If you have it, then find the num lock button. Hold down the fn button and press num lock. This should switch certain letters on the keyboard (7,8,9,U,I,O,J,K,L,M) to the num pad.
