We like to flex our capabilities as humans, but do we really need this shit? This is just the beginning of the path to H-A-L.

A robotics video blog. Too many videos to scare the sh*t out of you. I know that robots make our lives easier but they can also be used to harm the humans. Every technology has been abused so one can really not think only the positive side of advanced robotics.

A big useless but cool rating here. I'm sure the useful AI and behavior analysis is fascinating, but the end result is just something which would be cool to have hanging around in your giant futuristic space house. Maybe I just been watching too much Ghost in the Shell and am getting all cutesy about the Takichomas, if thats the case this is shit, and is most likely the work of a bunch of drugged up hippies out of rehab living their life out in some university campus, waiting to shuffle off the mortal coil.

this site posted a video by the stratetic Net firm Caseleggio Associati that projects the upcoming media revolution with some extraordinary expectations re the internet over the next decade: words like "prosumer" (an amalgam of producer and consumer", an autopoietic concept) are used and it ends with the tag line: "experience is the new reality" Good summary and very interesting predictions
