The irony is that in 'our' reality Hollywood and the other big shots of the movie industry (Peter Jackson: Lord of the Rings, f.i.) uses GNU/Linux (CGI) to run all the superiour visual effects. In the 90's they didn't want to port all the Unix software to M$ Window$, but ported it to Linux, which was less costly and much easier.
