iamjason discovered 8 months ago- Why to programmers all have long hair and/or beards? Finally the answer is clear!

peterbacon rated 7 months ago- seen it more than enough times

GreenBoy rated 7 months ago- True programmers have no dress code.

fearnight rated 8 months ago- Wow, so I guess I have to grow a beard.

SvetlanaG rated 8 months ago- Very funny - here are the founding fathers of the programmers' dress code.

Borzo2 rated 8 months ago- I've shaved immediatly after reading this

RobertShuttlebut rated 8 months ago- A cast of international programming heroes get (lovingly) roasted for their beards and questionable dress sense. I hate that I found this so amusing.

LeonardoDaVinci rated 8 months ago- Oh that's me alright. Its not just programmers, tho. Any hobby or profession that involves long periods of really deep thought and use of creativity and/or intellect tends to leave little time for unnecessary fussiness about the particulars of one's appearance, which such types usually see as superficial anyway. Look at Einstein for example. More extreme examples of this type of behavior can and often do extend to absolutely no hygienic practices at all - in other words, "dirty", "stinking", and "filthy" are not uncommon adjectives one could use to describe some with this "malady".

pkirsch rated 8 months ago- haha Funny! :)

Konimotsinui rated 8 months ago- It's all about convenience...get over it.
