- My brother bought one of these for my 5 year old son. It is difficult to focus for a young child and he lost interest. I borrowed it and brought it to my 7th grade science classroom. Older kids dig it. It has amazingly good optics for a "toy". Very good resolution but difficult to focus. You change the focal length by screwing the outside of the eye inward or outward and simply place the eyeclops on the object. Great video microscope for $50 US.

- A really cool $50 magnifying camera that hooks up to your TV that magnifies objects by x200. I was in Toys R Us trying to find a good board game (which is impossible) and i saw this and wanted to buy it but they were out of stock. I thought it looked rather childish and probably would not have bought it, but after seeing this site i think i'll check it out. You could do some really cool artwork with this, just hook it up to your computer and easily record what you see.
