Sounds like the military made the right decision here both morally (not proselytizing) and practically, for the safety of the troops in Afghanistan.

ummm while it seems CRAZY to some people to burn bibles....this makes more than a little sense but thanks for trying to portray in a way that the idiots that only scan the headlines and first few sentences will think the government is trying to censor religion!!!

It doesn't make any sense. If you're the military, and you're going to start burning books, why would you burn the religious war handbook? That would be like an alcoholic burning the AA Big Book.

good. be a christian if you want, but trying to convert those people with our military forces is tyrannical, and confirms their worst fears about us.
