I'm thinking more and more that this is actually the case with humanity as a whole, and is a viable answer to Fermi's paradox.

- Something isn't right about this story and photos. Perhaps I'm wrong. First, it appears as though two individuals are painted entirely in a reddish color, and another (a woman?) is painted entirely black. While this is not unlikely, it seems that this sort of adornment would be ceremonial, and what are the chances the helicopter happened to show up during the ceremony? Another 'tell' are the huts. They don't appear to be maintained or decorated. For a people who might supposedly go to the trouble of adorning their entire bodies, their environment is mysteriously... plain.
