These planes fly over my home fairly regularly. They're noisy but they really look cool. (I don't mind the flights at all.)
In Oct. 2007 I had the chance to meet a pilot of one of these planes. He stated that he feels it is a safe aircraft. And the pilot is the first guy at the scene of a crash.
