Feydakyn rated 13 months ago- Neat concept, but hardly practical in many homes.. Sweep the kitchen floor in two minutes?? Not hardly, especially with three dogs on a wet day.. It takes two minutes just to find the floor.. Then the sweeping of mud and then the mopping.. *shudder*

stephfoster rated 13 months ago- 19 minutes? On whose planet? Must not have any kids or pets around.
nilveda rated 13 months ago- Wow, now if I just can find someone to do that for me...just kidding! Gratefully borrowed from notrouble's blog.
george rated 13 months ago- I don't know about cleaning daily. But I would try to do it weekly. I wouldn't want to overexert myself.
On second thought, I would start with a bi-monthly schedule. :)
jasommers rated 13 months ago- Sweet, i'm gonna try this!
reality check: yep! my house is still a mess.
Laurie63 rated 13 months ago- I do this every day. I imagine it can take only 19 minutes. But if you have shedding dogs and cats and two teenage kids make that 45 minutes a day.

- Okay, hold on now.
"With these room-by-room checklists, you can maintain a sparkling house in just 19 minutes a day, giving you more time for family, friends and you."
What if I don't clean at all BEFORE starting this checklist...that's 19 minutes I'm NOT giving my family! I can't get those minutes back! :-P
And besides. What is this "dusting" she speaks of? And fluffing couch cushions? Wha??
AND. In my house, it takes waaaaaaaaay longer than 6-7 minutes to tidy the living room. It is the pit of despair.

And this doesn't even mention the amount of hair in the living room with three dogs in the middle of summer.. Some of those "dust bunnies" are large enough to hide a small child in..
I have managed to start making the bed every morning.. It takes less than a minute.. And I don't do it because I like a clean and neat bed.. I do it because my wife mentioned how much nicer it was to come to bed to a made bed.. And when momma's happy, everyone is happy..
