- cool...

riseautomaton rated 22 months ago- Woo hoo! I love orchestral covers of rock songs. This was cool as shit. I don't really know why I like stuff like this other than I'm a dork. My High School would always play "She Blinded Me With Science". That kicked ass too. This version of Nirvana wasn't played dead on but for a student orchestra it was damn good!

- the strings are out of tune and cannot keep time. it's an awful jumble of sound. can't expect too much, they're students. i like the arrangement tho. would be nice to hear a professional orchestra play it.

tonyfor24 rated 22 months ago- Bravo.

ScabbedWings rated 22 months ago- this is amazing. my orchestra never get to play anything like that and we didn't have drums and no one ever cared about our orchestra...

katja rated 22 months ago- Awesome. I like that version, normally classical music is not really my thing. But this is nice, there are some orchestra playing Smells like teen spirit.

nadimchaudry rated 22 months ago- AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FakePlasticSN328 rated 23 months ago- Pretty awesome. My roomate found Tori Amos doing a cover of it. It's pretty bad, but it's so hillariously ironic.

- OK, thumbs up for the use of modern music in orchestra. It is a great idea, and a really good way to get people to look at music in a differant light. Thumbs down to the use of Nirvana. They were elevant for a while in 1991. Then 1992 hit and, well, you know. Whatever, good idea next time try something that people still care about. There is something very ironic about an orchestra teacher using a song about being a disaffected youth.

Heggs rated 23 months ago- More music needs to be covered by orchestras. If my school band did songs like this then I'd have to join!
