- From the page: Climate Care was set up to help address the cause of climate change - rising greenhouse gas emissions, such as CO2. We do this by selling `offsets' to businesses and individuals. These balance out the CO2 that your activity releases by reducing an equivalent amount of CO2 from the atmosphere, making your activity 'Climate Neutral'. Climate Care's main purpose is enable projects that will help reduce the build up of carbon dioxide. The projects are either technology projects that reduce emissions at source or reforestation projects that sequester CO2 from the atmosphere. The technology projects, which are our main focus, can be either in renewable energy or in energy efficiency. Examples of projects that have been funded by Climate Care can be seen on the website.
