Retired Air Force General James Stewart. When it came to aviation movies Jimmy was the "real deal". A B-24 squadron commander in the 8th air force during the war, he continued his Air Force career Through the Vietnam conflict. When making the movie 'Strategic Air Command' he insisted upon going through the rigorous training to become certified as a B-36 aircraft commander. His attention to detail is legendary. After all, as I said he was the real deal.
