That story made no sense, I thought the idea was that Jesus only died for the people kissing his ass. Another thing occurs to me, jesus was only dead temporarily and has been chillin' in heaven ever since, does that mean the kid doing the pressups gets to spend the rest of the term bunking off and having lots of sex to make the allegory work?

It's still cruel if an invisible, infallible father figure with me-first issues and severe jealousy problems does it instead of a teacher. No, I wouldn't want a donut, I'd want the teacher to stop being a doucheknuckle. Are you saying that enjoying the fruits of cruelty is morally defensible, dcmaccabees? Are you implying that it's okay for someone to suffer needlessly as long as you're taken care of? Yahweh, the judeo-xtian god is a massive tool, even in-context.

Its an allegory, atheists, not a fable. For a group that prides itself on logic and reason, you sure don't show it with this gaggle of logical fallacies and emotionalism.

The reason they rejected the gift was because they saw the kid was already struggling.

Well, if he had a hard time finding a girlfriend before this, I'd say this pretty much solved that problem.

That just shows a ridiculously unfair teacher with a few students who don't want to watch someone suffer for no reason.

Nice storied analogy of Jesus Christ; doing all that is asked...
