Note to friends (and certain species) From Sunday, May 28th I will be travelling and may be only intermittently online or not at all. Forgive me if your messages are met with a stony silence. Feel free to flay me with a smelly lemur on my return. Apropos of which, in my absence the world shall still be guarded against the evil alien marauders from the Great Nebula in Lemur and their sinister species quislings on earth, known as The Gang of Three, e.g., viz. "Furball" Emmuttmax, op. cit., ibid., Rap "Pooper" Rafcop and Cottontail "Cannonfodder" Bun. This somber task has been entrusted to my noble cousin, Thane Lorcan the Lemur Slayer, seen here [right] departing from Castle Thomond at dawn, to head for the dark borderlands where leumurs laze, and pigeons poop, and rabbits rut without ceasing. In the meantime, I commend some light reading to the Celtic thane supporters to fill the empty hours while I am gone, e.g., viz. "The History of Thomond," in XXXV volumes. This distinguished, inspirational and gripping page-turner is without peer in the literature of valour. Care should be taken not to drop these heavy tomes on a lemur. Serious damage could result, for these are valuable books.
