    true story - had malware infection on work computer and as test infected on purpose lab computer. ran avg, malware bytes, lavasoft, hijack this and spybot search and destroy. all FAILED to detect the infection until I came across this. others are correct, no live real time scanner, so i recommend when you do have an infection to use this in conjunction with other anti virus software.

    Free, that is about the only good thing about it. - No active scanner so all sorts of stuff can get in without you knowing till it is too late - Its detection rate is lower than most paid systems - It is useful to toss in a pre-scanner on a mail gateway before scanning with another engine, if you rely on it as your only protection based on manual scanning or scheduled scanning you will find out eventually now pointless it is.

    The only antivirus that you can trust. All others take control of your system and won't uninstall completely.
