keyj63 rated 5 months ago- Very interesting. The USA was founded as a Christian nation and this is just the tip of the iceberg...

conservativerumb rated 7 months ago- From The page:The United States were founded on the principles of God, and an alliance with God. America's founders did not intend for there to be a separation of God and state, as shown by the fact that all 50 states acknowledge God in their state constitutions or preambles:

patoloco rated 7 months ago- Being grateful to God or vowing to God that you will establish a Constitution does not mean you will establish a religious state. At least I hope not. People endorsing this sound exactly like Muslims endorsing Islamic states and Sharia law. Frankly, it all scares the shit out of me.

Christns4Dawkins rated 9 months ago- yawn. like 4 billion people don't believe in Christian dogma. how could they all be wrong?

Faz465 rated 11 months ago- There's significant primary historical evidence that the founding fathers intended for the seperation of church and state and a secular nation, including the US constitution (Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof), the declaration of independence ("to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men."), and the treaty of Tripoli ("As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Musselmen..." signed by George Washington). This article is a weak, weak argument comparatively.
