BarryWeber discovered 12 months ago- Oh no! Almost as funny as the Rapture Ready discussion forums are the Christian Outdoorsman forums! Some examples: Fellow Christian Hunters, I did it with the help of God. I Shot a Tom turkey: 23 lbs. 10" Beard 1" Spurs. What a Beauty. I feel that as a part of Keeping the Sabbath Holy, I should not cause any one else to work other than my Minister. To me that includes the game wardens. The first and foremost thing to do is PRAY to the Lord to guide you in any decision that is made on this or any important subject. One thing that I have seen over the years is that there are some things in life that men will not always agree on, including prefered gun types, best caliber, best automible or truck, best lure to fish etc. you get my drift. I won't deny the adrenaline rush that hunting can give, but I cringe when I see arm-pumping celebrations on the Outdoor Channel. It's about more than the rush. It includes understanding and preserving the ancient, sacred realities that made us top dog in the food chain.
