A shocking testament to the durability and pervasiveness of plastic debris, in particular that floating in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which ends up being eaten by albatross chicks with fatal consequences. If you feel this doesn't affect you, don't worry: fish eat it, too... and we eat the fish. Yummy plastic junk and toxic chemicals find their way back to those who made them in the first place. Send not for whom the bell tolls...
