dimjoey discovered 23 months ago- i think its a great site for atheist and non-believers. i especially like the quotes from many famous and highly intelligent people who express their words on religion.

foofit1 rated 8 months ago- "I would defend the liberty of consenting adult creationists to practice whatever intellectual perversions they like in the privacy of their own homes; but it is also necessary to protect the young and innocent." That's definitely one of my new favorite quotes. I like how it ties two of the big fundamentalist Christian platforms together and makes them both look ridiculous. Awesome quotes in general.

jesusofdenver rated 8 months ago- Great, especially the quote at the top of the page.

SplashLeChat rated 9 months ago- From the page: "Richard Jeni: 'You're basically killing each other to see who's got the better imaginary friend.' Doug McLeod: 'I still say a church steeple with a lightning rod on top shows a lack of confidence.'"

the-JinX rated 12 months ago- usefull quotes..

Diamondlucy rated 16 months ago- From the page: "Albert Einstein A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death"

- From the page: "Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned."

darkscot rated 16 months ago- Hence today I believe I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord. Adolph Hitler I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn't do my job. George W. Bush

- errata for energydue's post (nov 4, 6:06 pm)
line 5: "God of the Bible and Jesus Christ, His Son"
should be
"The Flying Spaghetti Monster and his messengers, the Pirates".
We apologize for the mistake and note that the degree to which the conclusion follows from the premises was not significantly reduced by this mistype, if at all. - errata for energydue's post (nov 4, 6:06 pm)
