Chinese archaeologist exploring a 2500 year old tomb that contained 47 coffins made of a rare and extremely durable wood called nanmu. Several pieces of green diamond shaped crystals 8.5 cm long were found lodged in the bones of the skeletons. Archaeologists said the crystals appeared to have "grown" in the bones. The fact that the coffins were fire-heated to make them waterproof and airtight may be a factor in the creation of the crystals.
