sargt000 discovered 2 months ago- ok. not to keep talking about this helicopter crash, but seriously. what are the odds of going for a walk in a small BC town down a quiet residential street, minding your own business, enjoying your stay in canada in the picturesque east kootenays, rocking out to your ipod, and getting hit buy a motherfucking crashing HELICOPTER. this has to be one of the most freakish ways to die. i have to say, i got a bit grumpy with CBC - they were questioning the use of helicopters for work. come on - yeah they're dangerous (believe me. i have my fair share of scary stories) but more people get killed in car accidents while working. it's just there's rarely such a thing as a "fender bender" in a helicopter.
